Islam: Perfect Religion for Imperfect People

This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favour upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion.” (Quran 5:3). These were among the final words revealed during the farewell sermon of Prophet Muhammad. It was a powerful moment. The message was clear: the guidance was complete, the path was set, and it was meant for all humanity. Islam speaks to ordinary people. Not to perfect people. Not to people who never make mistakes. It is a perfect religion for imperfect people. It understands that human beings will fall short. That is why it teaches repentance, mercy, patience, and hope. It does not expect people to be flawless. It teaches them how to keep trying.
